Fort Bend County, TX (July 30, 2021) – A major car accident occurred on a roadway in Fort Bend County on the morning of July 30 that prompted a response from local emergency crews. The call concerning the incident was made to authorities at approximately 11:30 a.m. 

Sources indicate that the wreck occurred on US 90 A near Engel and FM 1952. It involved a heavy truck and another vehicle that collided for reasons unknown. A possible fatality may have resulted from the crash, though it has not been confirmed at this time. 

Paramedics, police, and other first responders were observed assisting those involved at the scene. The area in which the collision took place was closed while crews were present. 

Traffic delays ensued in the area for a prolonged period of time. The clean-up of the scene was expected to take several hours, according to reports.
