Galena Park, TX (December 24, 2021) – A fatal bicycle collision happened in Galena Park on Thursday night, December 23. At approximately 6:37 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the crash scene in the 2000 block of Clinton Drive.
Initial reports reveal that a bicyclist was hit by a car on Clinton Drive near Eastway Street. The factors contributing to the crash remain unknown at this time, however.
Paramedics promptly responded to the scene to assist the injured victim, though they were pronounced deceased on-site a short time later. Currently, it remains unclear whether the driver who struck the cyclist remained at the scene.
