Harris, TX – Car Crash Injures 5 People on Clay Road

At approximately 3:00 a.m. on December 5, two Harris County police officers were headed west on Clay Road in response to a call concerning a chase. During their pursuit, a Ford F-150 turned in front of their cruiser, according to information provided by the Sheriff’s Office. 

The accident took place at the intersection of Clay Road and Queenston Boulevard for reasons still being determined by local law enforcement officials. The police cruiser side swept the pick up that was occupied by three individuals at the time of the crash. 

The driver of the pickup, as well as their two passengers, were all transported to a nearby hospital with injuries deemed serious in nature. Both officers were also transported to hospitals with injuries as well. 

No one involved in the crash has been identified to the public at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause and circumstances of the incident will be carried out. No further information is available.
