Harris, TX (April 9, 2021) – An auto accident reported in the Harris County area of Houston resulted in injuries on Monday, April 5. At around 2:30 p.m. responders were dispatched to the scene in order to render aid to those involved. 

According to crash reports, the incident occurred between two vehicles on Wilcrest Drive. One person was reported to have been injured in the wreck, though their name has not been released. 

A 1999 black Ford and a 2016 silver Toyota collided on the roadway, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Toyota. They were identified as a 38-year-old male. Paramedics rendered emergency aid to the injured person on-site before taking them to a local medical center for further care. 

Officers with the Houston Police Department and Houston Fire and Rescue worked at the crash scene for several hours after the incident took place. Traffic delays were observed in the vicinity of Wilcrest Drive for an extended period of time on the afternoon of April 5.
