Houston, TX (November 28, 2021) – Police in Houston are currently investigating the death of a 16-year-old girl who lost her life due to injuries she sustained in an auto accident. The wreck was reported to officials in the early morning hours of November 28 at around 5:15 a.m.
Police stated that intoxication manslaughter charges have been filed against the driver who caused the accident she was involved in. The driver was only identified as a 19-year-old.
The collision occurred in the 15000 block of Bellaire Boulevard when the 19-year-old crashed their car with the 16-year-old female inside. The teenage victim was transported to a local hospital after the accident where she was pronounced deceased.
The 19-year-old driver was also transported to a local medical center by EMS to receive treatment for injuries they sustained in the collision. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
