Houston, TX (December 30, 2021) – An injury collision was reported to police in Houston on the afternoon of December 30. At approximately 12:39 p.m, the incident took place in the 11700 block of South Wilcrest Drive.

Officials in Houston responded to the scene, located near West Bellfort Avenue on South Wilcrest Drive, to find at least one person in need of medical attention. The contributing factors of the crash have not been reported to the police at this time. 

Sources indicate the accident took place when two or more vehicles collided, resulting in injuries for involved parties. Various responders were seen assisting injured victims at the crash scene. 

One or more victims were transported from the scene of the accident to area medical centers for medical care as necessary. Traffic was delayed in the vicinity of the crash site for an extended period of time.

Currently, authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. Few details are available surrounding the incident at this time.
