Nov 3, 2021 | Houston, TX Traffic Accidents

Houston, TX (November 2, 2021) – At approximately 6:30 p.m. on the evening of November 2, a vehicle collision ended in injuries on a roadway in Houston. Houston area authorities as well as EMS and fire crews were dispatched to the scene in order to assist those with injuries.

At least one person required transportation from the scene to a local medical center for emergency treatment, according to preliminary reports. Currently, none of the injured parties have been identified to the public.

The wreck occurred in the 7000 block of Southbank Street in the vicinity of Pershing Street. An unspecified number of vehicles collided in the area, resulting in the presence of police and ambulance on the road for some time.

Due to the presence of officials on the roadway, traffic in the area was backed up for approximately an hour while crews worked at the crash site. Authorities asked local motorists to avoid the scene and find alternate routes of travel while they were present.

At this time, police in Houston continue to investigate the details of the collision. Our thoughts are with everyone involved. We hope for their full recovery.
