Houston, TX (February 9, 2021) – At approximately 5:50 p.m. on the evening of February 7, an auto accident caused injuries on an interstate in Houston. Area officials, including police and EMTs, were sent to the scene in order to render aid to those who were hurt in the wreck. 

The incident occurred on Interstate 45 North near Parker. Upon their arrival, responders found that at least one person was in need of emergency medical assistance due to the crash. 

Injured victims were rendered aid at the site of the accident before being taken to local hospitals for further treatment and evaluation. Currently, no one involved has been identified. 

Three left lanes of the interstate were blocked while emergency crews were active at the crash scene. In order to allow them to work safely at the site of the accident, drivers in the area were asked to use alternate travel routes. 

The road was blocked for approximately two hours after the collision occurred, and stop and go traffic was observed back to Crosstimbers. 

Local police are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
