Houston Auto Collisions

Houston, TX - Auto Wreck on Westheimer Rd near McCue Rd with Injuries

In Houston and throughout the state of Texas, injury-causing accidents take place thousands of times every year, injuring and sometimes ending the lives of several thousand victims. As reported by the Texas Department of Transportation, in 2018 there were over 12,000 critical car accidents that resulted in injury in Texas. Of those accidents, 14,937 people were injured and more than 3,000 lost their lives.

Regrettably, almost all of the collisions that take place in Texas and within the United States are caused by some kind of driver negligence. Recent statistics compiled concerning the most common causes of traffic accidents in the US found that about 94% of the car crashes that take place are the result of driver recklessness, carelessness, or negligence.

These are the three most common forms of driver negligence found to cause car accidents in Houston. If you are under the impression that you or someone you love has been injured in a Houston road accident, contacting a Houston personal injury lawyer may be your best bet in order to obtain full and fair financial remuneration for your injuries and losses that may have resulted from your recent accident.
