Houston, TX (April 7, 2021) – Police and other responders in Houston were called to the site of a traffic accident that resulted in injuries on April 7. At around 6:15 p.m., the Houston Police Department was notified that a collision on Interstate 10 East required emergency assistance.
According to information provided by officials, the incident blocked three right lanes of the intersection near the East Sam Houston Parkway. Stop and go traffic was observed back to Normandy for some time after the wreck took place.
The scene was cleared by firefighters and police approximately an hour after the crash occurred. EMTs were called to assist at the scene where they tended to injured parties.
Those in need of further treatment were taken to local medical centers by ambulance. No one involved has been identified at this time as police continue to investigate.
