Houston, TX (February 4, 2021) – Injuries resulted from an auto accident that took place on a freeway in Houston on Thursday afternoon, February 4. At approximately 6:16 p.m., police and emergency personnel were called to assist at the scene of a collision on the East Freeway.
According to reports, the crash happened in the vicinity of Oates Road in the 10200 block of the East Freeway for reasons still being investigated by local police. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene in order to medically assist those who were hurt.
Injured parties were rendered at the site of the crash before being transported in ambulances to nearby hospitals for further treatment. No one involved has been identified at this time.
Two lanes of the freeway were blocked while first responders worked at the site of the accident. Heavy traffic was observed in the area for some time after the collision occurred.
