Houston Car Wrecks

Serious car accidents usually come with truly life-altering consequences. In fact, thousands of people are victimized by auto accidents in the state of Texas each and every year. More than 17,000 people sustain injuries in auto accidents throughout the Lone Star State annually. These victims are often forced to undergo extensive and expensive medical treatment that can force them out of work for prolonged periods of time. Some of the leading causes of crashes are:
- Reckless/negligent drivers
- Intoxicated drivers
- Distracted drivers
- Disregarding traffic signals/lights
- Failure to yield the right of way
- Defective vehicles/malfunctioning parts
- Failure to maintain proper vehicle maintenance
- Inclement weather
- Road construction
Many people who become injured in car crashes are left permanently disabled. Serious injuries may keep victims from returning to work in a timely manner, which then results in financial burdens and stress. Being faced with towering medical bills, vehicle repair costs, and other expenses associated with a vehicle accident can be a stressful situation. When paired with not being able to return to work, the situation can seem even more severe.
