Houston, TX (August 14, 2021) – Just before 4:00 p.m. on the afternoon of August 14, an auto accident in Houston caused injuries and required an emergency dispatch. The incident was reported in the 1000 block of West 18th Street, according to authorities.

Sources indicate that the accident happened on West 18th Street near Beall Street for reasons still being investigated by area officials. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, resulting in injuries for those involved. 

Paramedics were seen rendering aid to those injured at the scene. However, the total number of wounded parties has not been reported to the public at this time. 

Authorities in Houston continue to investigate the details of the collision. Currently, no further information is available. Traffic delays were seen in the vicinity of the crash site for an extended period of time throughout the afternoon.
