Auto Collisions in Houston

Houston, TX - Car Wreck with Injuries on International Blvd near Katy Fwy

Houston sees more auto accidents than any other city in Texas. Not only is it the fourth-largest city in the United States, but it is also the largest city in Texas. With its high population, the auto accident rate remains high there year-round. Approximately 450,000 auto accidents in Texas happen every single year. Hundreds of thousands of people sustain injuries in these wrecks while thousands lose their lives. On average, more than 3,500 people are killed in Texas car wrecks each year.

The reason these accidents occur, unfortunately, is often driver negligence. Drivers are often distracted, intoxicated, or overly tired while behind the wheel. Sustaining injuries in a serious car accident can be overwhelming and stressful, not to mention scary and extremely painful.
