Houston, TX (February 10, 2021) – Officers from the Houston Police Department responded to the scene of an injury crash that turned fatal. The accident took place in the 8900 block of Easthaven Boulevard at about 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, February 7th.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
Reports show that the driver of a Chrysler Town and Country minivan was heading southbound along Easthaven Boulevard in the area of Edgebrook Drive when he hit a bicyclist.
The rider sustained critical injuries and was transported via ambulance to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. He was pronounced dead the following day.
This accident is under investigation by the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division.
