Houston, TX (July 8, 2021) -One man reportedly lost his life in an auto-pedestrian accident in Houston on Tuesday, July 6. According to officials, the wreck occurred at around 11:45 PM.

According to officials, the man was killed when he was hit by a big rig while attempting to cross the freeway. The incident was reported to have occurred in the southbound lanes at Crosstimbers on Interstate 45.

Paramedics pronounce the man deceased at the scene, according to information from various sources. His identity has not been released at this time.

The driver of the semi involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities in Houston continue to investigate.
