Houston, TX (April 10, 2021) – A fatal hit and run crash took the life of one pedestrian this Saturday, April 10. The incident was reported to have taken place at approximately 7:30 a.m. for currently unspecified reasons.
Reports indicate that the collision occurred on Interstate 10, also known as the East Freeway near Federal Road. A person traveling by foot was reportedly fatally struck by a vehicle.
Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the crash scene. Their identity has not been released at this time.
Road blocks were put in place while responders worked to secure the scene. Traffic delays were observed for some time while crews were present in the area.
