Houston, TX (January 14, 2021) – Police in Houston are currently investigating a traffic accident that took the life of one man this past Wednesday afternoon, January 13. The accident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the 700 block of South State Highway 6 in the vicinity of Memorial Drive.
According to Houston police, the accident involved an 18-wheeler and a pedestrian who was attempting to cross Highway 6. Paramedics were called to assist at the scene of the collision, and despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.
His identity has not been released to the public at this time as police are still investigating the details of the incident. The area of Highway 6 where the crash took place was closed for a period of time while first responders were present.
