Houston, TX - Injuries Reported in Accident on Travis St near Webster St

Houston, TX (December 20, 2021) – At least one person sustained injuries and required hospitalization after a collision that occurred in Houston on the evening of December 20. The wreck was reported to officials in the area just before 9:00 a.m.

Sources indicate that the crash happened on Travis Street near Webster Street for reasons not currently determined. Emergency responders at the scene assisted the wounded parties and transported those in need of extensive medical care to area hospitals for treatment.

The names of the injured victims have not been released at this time. Police in Houston will continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. 

Traffic was delayed in the area for an extensive period of time while crews worked to secure the scene. Drivers commuting in the vicinity of the crash site were asked by authorities to seek alternative routes of travel for the time being.
