Houston Car Accidents

Houston, TX - Injuries Reported in Auto Collision on Bellaire Blvd near S Gessner Rd

Every year, the Texas Department of Transportation publishes statistics concerning car and truck crashes. Harris County, located in Houston, leads all counties in the Lone Star State for the number of auto accidents and resulting fatalities that take place annually. Houston is the largest city in Texas, and one of the most populated cities in the nation. This is definitely a contributing factor to why so many serious auto accidents occur there. However, the reason behind the auto accidents cannot be explained by the high population. The leading reason car crashes take place in Houston and throughout Texas is currently driver negligence.

There’s no way around it: Houston is home to some of the most reckless drivers and deadliest roads in the United States. If you’re a Houston resident who drives a car every day, you’re probably well aware of how dangerous it can be out there. From pedestrians being struck by vehicles in crowded urban areas to trucks rear-ending cars at breakneck speeds, and motorcyclists being hit by negligent drivers, Houston car crash lawyers have experienced it all when it comes to some of the most catastrophic and deadly car accident cases.
