Houston, TX (December 17, 2021) – A car wreck caused injuries on a roadway in Houston on the morning of December 17. Just after 8:00 a.m., authorities and paramedics promptly responded to the scene to assist those involved.
According to information from various sources, the accident happened in the 7600 block of the Eastex Freeway. At least one person sustained injuries in the collision.
Paramedics were observed at the scene assisting those involved. One or more people required transportation to area hospitals by ambulance for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been reported at this time.
First responders remained at the site of the collision for several hours after it occurred, causing extensive delays in the area. Traffic was backed up and authorities asked drivers to find alternate routes.
