Houston, TX (August 15, 2021) – At least one person sustained injuries in an auto accident that was reported on the afternoon of August 15 in Houston. According to reports, the wreck occurred at around 1:49 p.m. when two or more vehicles collided on the Katy Freeway.
Sources indicate that the crash occurred in the 3400 block of the Katy Freeway near Cortlandt Street. Few details are currently available concerning the nature of the wreck, however, injuries were reported to have taken place.
One or more people required treatment at the scene by paramedics. Those with extensive injuries were transported from the scene to local medical centers for care as necessary.
Traffic delays were observed in the area while crews worked to secure the crash site. Authorities have not identified the victims at this time as police in Houston continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
