Houston, TX (July 20, 2021) – At least one person was hurt in an auto accident that took place in Houston on the evening of July 20. At around 7:30 p.m, police and emergency medical technicians were sent to the scene of the wreck in order to assist those involved.
According to reports from officials, the incident occurred on the Katy Freeway in the outbound lanes near Katy Advanced OB/GYN. The reason the collision took place remains unknown at this time.
Various sources stated that two or more vehicles were involved in a crash that then resulted in injuries for those involved. Emergency medical technicians were observed assisting those with injuries at the scene.
Those with serious injuries were taken to local hospitals for further care as needed. The identities of the involved parties have not been released at this time.
Traffic delays were observed in the area while crews remained at the scene. Police investigated the circumstances of the wreck while clean-up crews worked to secure the area. Local motorists were forced to go around or find alternative travel routes.
