Houston, TX (August 11, 2021) – At approximately 7:00 p.m. on the evening of August 11, an injury collision took place in Houston that required an emergency dispatch. Crews arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck took place in order to assist those involved. 

Information from reports shows that the collision occurred in the 8500 block of Monroe Road near Scranton Street. Two or more vehicles collided in the area resulting in injuries for those involved. 

Paramedics were observed assisting injured parties at the scene. At least one person required transportation to a local hospital for further care as needed. 

Nothing further has been reported as authorities in Houston continue to investigate.
