Houston, TX (July 24, 2021) – At around 2:36 p.m. on the afternoon of July 24, a car crash occurred in Houston that resulted in injuries. Officials responded to the scene, stated to be on North Sam Houston Parkway East.

Reports state that the wreck happened in the 500 block of the North Sam Houston Parkway East. How and why the accident occurred remains unknown at this time, as police continue to investigate.

At least one person was hurt in the crash, according to reports. Paramedics were observed assisting those with injuries at the scene, and extensively injured patients were transported to area hospitals by ambulance.

Police, paramedics, and fire crews remained at the scene for an extended period of time while it was active. Authorities forced other drivers around.
