Houston Car Accidents
Texas has the highest car crash rate in the United States. This means that Texas streets and highways are exposed to some kind of vehicle collision approximately once every minute. A Texas crash victim dies about every two and a half hours, and a victim endures a severe injury every other minute.
As described by the Texas DOT, more than 19,500 severe car accidents caused injuries to about 31,000 victims and killed around 3,750 people in one recent year. Traffic accidents in Texas are often the result of negligent drivers who drive while distracted, fatigued or impaired.
