Houston, TX (July 4, 2021) – At least one person sustained injuries in an auto accident reported to authorities on the afternoon of July 4. The incident happened just after 2:00 p.m. for reasons still under police investigation. 

According to reports, the wreck took place in the 2800 block of Bagby Street near Tuam Street. An unspecified number of vehicles were involved in a collision that then resulted in injuries for those involved. 

Paramedics were seen assisting injured parties on-site. One or more victims were transported from the scene to area hospitals with injuries. 

Authorities remained at the crash scene for an extended period of time after the incident occurred in order to investigate and clear the area. Traffic delays ensued in the vicinity of Bagby and Tuam for some time.
