Houston, TX (August 24, 2021) – A car wreck caused injuries on a roadway in Houston on the morning of August 24. At approximately 11:53 a.m., authorities in the area responded to the scene in order to assist those involved.
According to information from various sources, the accident happened in the 1400 block of West Sam Houston Parkway North near Shadow Wood Drive. At least one person sustained injuries in the collision.
Paramedics were observed at the scene assisting those involved. One or more people required transportation from the scene to area hospitals for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been reported at this time.
First responders remained at the site of the crash for several hours after it occurred, causing extensive traffic delays in the area. Traffic was backed up and drivers were forced to find alternate routes.
