Houston, TX (August 16, 2021) – At approximately 11:40 a.m. on the morning of August 16, an injury collision occurred in Houston that required an emergency dispatch. The factors contributing to the cause of the incident have not been reported at this time.
Information from officials shows that the collision occurred in the1500 block of West Sam Houston Parkway near Briar Forest Drive. Two or more vehicles collided in the area resulting in injuries for those involved.
Paramedics were observed assisting injured parties at the scene. At least one person required transportation to a local hospital for further care as needed.
Nothing further has been reported as authorities in Houston continue to investigate.
