Houston, TX (January 5, 2020) – An auto accident occurred on a roadway in Houston this afternoon, January 5, that prompted a response from local emergency crews. The crash was said to have occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m., according to authorities.
Reports indicate that the accident took place in the westbound lanes of I-610 North Loop in the vicinity of Frontage Road just after the Hardy Toll Road. The reason the collision occurred is currently unknown.
Police and paramedics along with other first responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash that occurred between at least two vehicles. The total number of injured accident victims has not been made public.
The severity of the subsequent injuries is not known. Police are currently investigating the cause and liability of the incident.
