Houston, TX (March 16, 2021) – At around 12:00 noon on March 16, a major vehicle collision took place on a roadway in Houston. Authorities with the Houston Police Department as well as the Houston Fire & Rescue Squad were sent to assist those involved shortly after the wreck happened.
Reports into the circumstances of the incident state that it occurred in the 5000 block of Knox Street near Mansfield Street. The factors contributing to the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the accident took place. Patients were treated on site before being taken to local medical centers via ambulance as needed.
Knox Street was closed while police and paramedics worked to clear the area. Drivers were asked to use alternate travel routes while responders were present.
