Texas Car Crashes

Texas auto accidents can occur for a multitude of different reasons. Unfortunately, a large percentage of those reasons happen to be preventable yet negligent human behaviors including speeding, intoxication, and distraction. According to recent statistics compiled concerning accident rates in the United States, approximately 94% of traffic accidents in the nation are caused by negligence on the part of a driver.

Currently, the leading cause of traffic accidents to take place in Texas is the failure to control speed. This issue has caused over 100,000 car accidents annually in recent years in Texas. The second leading cause of traffic collisions in the Lone Star State is driver inattention, which was attributed to approximately 82,833 traffic wrecks in Texas in 2014.
