Houston, TX (January 11, 2022) – An auto accident reported in the Houston area on Monday evening claimed the lives of two people. Just after 7:10 p.m., on January 10, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash in the 11600 block of Bannister Lane.
Reports from authorities show that a Dodge pickup truck was traveling west on Little York Road when the vehicle collided with a Kia at the intersection of Bannister Lane.
A woman in the Dodge was ejected from the vehicle. The woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the Kia suffered fatal injuries in the accident and was also pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge was transported to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
