Houston, TX (April 11, 2021) – The Houston Police Department, the Houston Fire Department, and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a major vehicle accident on the morning of April 11.
At approximately 8:00 a.m., a traffic accident between motor vehicles took place in the 6000 block of Hillcroft Avenue near Gulfton Street. At least one person sustained injuries in the wreck.
Injured parties were tended to by medical professionals at the scene. Those in need of further care were then transported via ambulance to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The involved parties have not been publicly identified at this time. Authorities in Houston are still investigating the circumstances of the collision.
Traffic delays ensued in the area the wreck occurred while responders were present on the scene. Local drivers were asked to avoid the 6000 block of Hillcroft Avenue while emergency crews worked to secure the crash site.
