Houston, TX (July 15, 2021) – On the morning of Sunday, July 11, a multi-vehicle pile-up took place in Houston. The crash was reported at around 12:30 a.m., according to officials.
Sources indicate that the collision happened near Cypresswood Road on the North Freeway. An SUV was driving erratically before it crashed into two other vehicles and hit a retainer wall. The SUV then rolled over, according to information from reports.
One person, identified as Mattheus Coleman, lost his life at the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances of the wreck at this time.
The incident closed the freeway for some time while responders worked at the scene. Drivers in the area were forced to find alternative travel routes.
