Houston, TX (January 19, 2021) – Authorities in Houston were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident that caused injuries on Saturday, January 16. At approximately 12:58 p.m., reports concerning a car crash were made to the Houston Police Department.
Sources indicate that an accident involving multiple vehicles occurred in the northbound lanes of the 610 East Loop at Industrial Road. The wreck resulted in injuries for those involved as paramedics treated wounded victims at the scene. At least one person required transportation to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The accident is currently being investigated by local authorities. Traffic was delayed on I-610 for several hours after the crash took place as all lanes of the interstate were blocked.
