Houston, TX (September 26, 2021) – A passenger in a car died after a crash involving a METRO bus on Saturday, September 25th in northeast Houston. 

Sources reported that the car and the bus collided in the 3500 block of Bennington Street in Harris County.

There were two people in the car when the accident occurred, one of whom sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.  

Details about the events leading up to the crash are extremely limited, however, it was confirmed that the driver of the car and the METRO bus operator were both taken by ambulance to local hospitals.
