Houston, TX (January 26, 2021) – A car accident in Houston caused severe injuries this past Saturday, January 23. The collision occurred in the morning hours between two vehicles on Old Houston Road.
Police, paramedics, and fire crews were dispatched to the crash scene in order to medically assist the injured parties. Upon their arrival, they found that one woman had sustained critical injuries after her involvement in the two-car collision.
Reports indicate that she was driving a gray 2002 Mercury headed south on Old Houston Road when she collided with a black Dodge 3500 pickup. The force of the impact split the Mercury in two.
The woman, who remains unidentified at this time, was transported from the scene by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Woodlands in order to receive treatment for her injuries.
The accident remains under local law enforcement investigation at this time. Old Houston Road was closed for an extended period of time while first responders worked to clear the wreckage from the roadway and assist the injured victim.
