Houston, TX - One Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Accident on E Fwy near Normandy St

Houston, TX (October 30, 2021) – A fatal car accident that involved a pedestrian took place on a roadway in Houston on the morning of Thursday, October 28. The deadly incident required an emergency dispatch shortly after 5:00 a.m. 

Authorities along with paramedics and other responders were sent to the scene of the incident in order to help involved parties and investigate. The wreck happened on the East Freeway near Normandy Street, according to reports. One person was fatally struck by a car in the area, though their identity has not been released at this time. 

Various responders were observed at the scene for an extended period of time after the collision took place. Traffic was delayed in the vicinity of the crash scene for an extended period of time in the early morning hours of Thursday, October 28.
