Houston, TX (June 18, 2021) – One person reportedly lost their life in a traffic accident that occurred in Houston on Thursday, June 17. Reports show that the wreck occurred around 7:30 p.m.

Police in Houston along with emergency responders were called to assist at the scene of the crash. The incident happened on the South Loop near Wayside, sources stated. 

According to reports, a Mercedes and a truck were involved in a collision for unknown reasons. The driver of the pickup was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the site of the accident. 

No one involved has been identified at this time as police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident. The driver of the Mercedes was treated on-site before they were transported to an area hospital for further care.
