Houston, TX (January 23, 2021) – A man died after being struck by a car on Thursday, January 21st in a northeast part of Houston.  

Reports indicate that the fatal accident took place at about 9:00 p.m. in the 9200 block of Laura Koppe Road.

Officers on the scene state that the male pedestrian was walking along the side of the road when he allegedly walked or fell into the middle of the roadway, where he was hit by a car.  

Emergency medics pronounced the man dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

The driver stayed at the accident scene and has been cooperative with the police.  

This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
