Houston, TX (December 14, 2021) – Police and other responders in Houston were called to assist at the scene of an injury accident reported in Houston on December 14. The wreck happened at around 7:50 a.m., according to preliminary reports. 

Sources say that the accident took place between at least two vehicles in the 800 block of Walker Street near the intersection with Travis Street. What initially led up to the crash remains under local law enforcement investigation at this time. 

Injuries were reported to have resulted from the incident, but police officially categorized it as a non-fatal crash. The number of injured parties has not currently been reported.

Paramedics were observed on-site, and at least one person required emergency transport to an area hospital for treatment. The injured victims have not been identified as police continue to investigate.

Traffic was backed up in the vicinity of the crash scene while responders worked in the area. Local drivers were forced to avoid the site of the wreck while emergency crews were present.
