Houston, TX – Street Racing Crash Injures 8 People on S Kirkwood

Houston, TX (July 27, 2021) – A possible street racing collision caused injuries to eight people in Houston on Thursday, July 22, sources state. The wreck occurred in Alief at approximately 8:00 p.m. 

According to reports, the incident occurred at South Kirkwood when a black Chevrolet Camaro was headed south in the 7500 block. The Camaro collided with a Toyota minivan that was turning from the northbound lanes. 

The driver of the Camaro fled the scene on foot. There were reportedly eight people inside of the van, including two adult women and six children. They were all transported to an area medical center including an 11-year-old who was stated to have been in serious condition. 

The identities of those involved have not been released at this time as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. Nothing further has been reported at this time.
