Houston, TX (August 4, 2021) – Further details have been released by officers after a fatal three-car crash occurred early Sunday morning, August 1.
Officers say that one person died and another suffered major injuries following a multi-vehicle pile-up on the Katy Freeway.
The fatal incident occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway near Barker Cypress Road around 2:30 a.m. A medical helicopter landed on the freeway to airlift one patient to the hospital, though their current condition is unknown.
The events that have led up to the wreck remain undisclosed but authorities will continue to investigate the deadly collision.
