Houston, TX – Traffic Collision on SH 249 Injures One, Causes Delays

Houston, TX (April 9, 2021) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision on a roadway in Houston on April 5. At around 8:30 p.m., police and paramedics were sent to assist at the scene of the wreck. 

When they arrived at the crash site, located on State Highway 249, they found that one person had been hurt in the wreck. The vehicles involved, identified as a 2012 Gray Chevrolet and a 2012 white Mazda, collided for currently unspecified reasons. 

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 35-year-old female, was reported to have sustained injuries due to the collision. She was treated on-site before being transported to an area hospital for further care. 

The area of the roadway where the collision took place was closed while responders worked to clear the wreckage. Police officials in Houston continue their investigations into the circumstances of the accident.
