Houston, TX (December 16, 2020) – Two teenagers were killed in a rear-end crash that occurred on a roadway in Cleveland on December 12. The reason the collision occurred remains under local law enforcement investigation at this time. 

The two teens, who remain unidentified, were in the backseat of their parent’s car stopped in traffic on Highway 59 at 105 when the vehicle was struck from behind by a commercial van. The car then spun out of its lane and struck the back of a pickup truck, according to accident investigators. 

The force of the rear-end impact took the lives of the two teenagers, who were pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident by medical professionals. 

The two deceased victims were said to be 14 and 19 years old.  The mother and father of the two boys were transported from the scene by ambulance and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

According to investigators, the family is said to have been from Kingswood. No further information has been provided at this time concerning the accident or its circumstances.
