Jersey Village, TX (August 12, 2021) – A major vehicle crash happened in Jersey Village early on Thursday, August 12. Sources indicate that the accident occurred at around 12:15 a.m. on Highway 290 in the westbound lanes.
The wreck was reported in the vicinity of North Eldridge. All main lanes of the highway were closed while responders worked to clear the scene and assist those with injuries.
Authorities believe that a woman driving a Lexus collided with the rear-end of a large truck. Her vehicle was crushed and she required transportation by helicopter to a nearby hospital for treatment.
