Attorney Margot Trevino is dedicated to helping people who have been hurt. Margot joined Williams Hart as a law clerk in 2010 after her first year of law school and worked part time through the remainder of law school. “Since becoming an attorney, I have been honored to represent clients in many different types of cases, all with one common thread: someone was hurt and needed our help.”
During her time at Williams Hart, Margot has assisted clients in complex pharmaceutical mass tort actions, other product liability actions, and personal injury actions involving commercial vehicles. Margot has extensive experience with all aspects of litigation, from investigating and filing the case through trial and post-trial proceedings. She was a member of the trial team that successfully obtained a $38 million dollar jury verdict on behalf of a young girl born with severe birth defects. She was also a member of trial teams that obtained multi-million dollar verdicts in a wrongful death case involving a commercial vehicle and a personal injury case stemming from a commercial 18-wheeler collision.
Margot received her undergraduate degree in History and Spanish Literature from Boston College. She obtained her law degree from South Texas College of Law, where she was a varsity moot court advocate. Prior to attending law school, Margot worked in the marketing group of a large, Houston-based healthcare system. Margot is fluent in Spanish, is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas, and has been admitted to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Texas and Northern District of Texas. She volunteers with the Houston Bar Association’s Legal Line, Habitat for Humanity, and Legal Aid programs at the VA Hospital.
Margot was named a “Rising Star” by Texas Super Lawyers in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
