Eloy Gaitan ATTORNEY

Eloy’s passion comes from first-hand experience, while still living with his parents. Eloy’s father was seriously injured in a work-related incident due to the negligence of a contracting company. As the sole provider, Eloy’s father was unable to return to work for a substantial period. The difficult recovery, coupled with the loss of income, stressed his entire family. Familiar with the difficulties faced by injured and in pain clients, he has a greater understanding of what they require. Eloy listens to their story, involves their family, observes their pain and suffering, and attempts to lessen their burden. This is Eloy’s motivation to defend each of his clients and ensure that they get the representation they deserve. This is evident in the success Eloy has secured for his clients over the years.

Eloy Gaitan joined the Williams Hart & Boundas, LLP team in 2007. He has been practicing law since 1994. Eloy primarily focuses on personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. He is passionate about representing his clients and dedicated to fighting for the justice they deserve because of others’ negligence.

He is licensed to practice in Texas, represents claimants in hearings before the Texas Workers’ Compensation Division and arbitrations before Federal Mediators, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts. Eloy is one of a select number of attorneys who are Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Eloy graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 1982. He then attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law, attaining his Juris Doctorate in 1993. Eloy has since represented clients throughout Texas in catastrophic injury cases, refinery explosions, 18-wheeler cases, work-related injuries, and Union arbitrations, including, but not limited to, terminations of bargaining unit members and contract disputes. Unions are an integral part of Eloy’s practice. He had successfully defended union members against ExxonMobil, Valero, CenterPoint, Texas-New Mexico Electric, Kinder Morgan, LyondellBasell, Albemarle, and Entergy Operations in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Eloy’s greatest satisfaction is hearing the union members’ reactions when they are told they will be reinstated to their former positions with back pay and made whole with accrued benefits.

Eloy is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Bar Association.

Eloy is proud to be part of the Williams Hart & Boundas, LLP team and carry the team mantra, “the passion to fight, experience to win.”
