Walt Cubberly ATTORNEY
Walt Cubberly is an attorney at Williams Hart & Boundas, LLP. He helps his clients stand up to the companies that hurt them and their families. Walt is dedicated to protecting his clients and loves trying cases in front of juries, who have the power to hold these big corporations accountable. He is proud to serve on the leadership of both the Lyft JCCP and the Uber JCCP in California and to represent the brave women who are fighting Uber and Lyft.
Walt is licensed to practice law in California, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Texas. He is admitted to all the United States District Courts in California and the Eastern District of Missouri, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Southern District of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Walt graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004. He then went to the University of Houston Law Center, graduating tenth in his class. While in law school, he was admitted to the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barons and received the Lex Award for Constitutional Law.
After law school, Walt clerked for the Honorable Phil Johnson of the Texas Supreme Court for the 2009 – 2010 term.
Walt’s peers selected him for inclusion in the Texas Super Lawyers list in 2023 and 2024.
Walt loves baseball, college football, and bad jokes.

Representative Matters/Case Results
- Kelly Martel v. Monsanto Company et al. A jury awarded Ms. Martel a multi-million dollar verdict against Monsanto Company and its surfactant maker, finding that those companies caused Ms. Martel’s non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
